At Wild Oak Haven, our faith in Jesus Christ is the beating heart of everything we do. We exist to reflect His unfailing love to children, families, and communities impacted by foster care, walking in grace, truth, and compassion through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture & Truth

We cherish the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is our lamp and our light, revealing God’s heart for redemption, guiding our steps, and teaching us how to love well. We humbly align our ministry, choices, and character with the truth of Scripture, trusting God’s wisdom above our own.

The Triune God & Salvation

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created every person with divine value and calls us into a restored relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift of pure grace, received through faith in Jesus alone. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven, adopted as God’s beloved children, and filled with the Holy Spirit to live lives abundant in love, joy, and good fruit.

The Sanctity of Life & God’s Design for Family

We believe that all human life is sacred and holds eternal purpose, from conception to natural death. Because every child and parent is precious to God, we extend relentless compassion and hope to families navigating hardship. We celebrate family as God’s gracious provision for raising children, honoring the lifelong covenant of marriage between a husband and a wife as His foundational portrait of love, commitment, and stability.

Faithful Stewardship & Excellence in Care

Out of gratitude for all God has given us, we strive to offer our very best to the children and families we serve. We believe true love is both deeply compassionate and thoughtfully wise (Philippians 1:9–11). We honor God by combining prayerful discernment and Biblical truth with sound research, expert insight, and proven practices, offering vulnerable children the same level of care and caregiving we would extend to Jesus Himself.

God’s Heart for the Vulnerable

God’s heart beats for the orphaned, the vulnerable, and the forgotten, and He invites us to participate in His healing work. We are called to put our faith into action by caring for children, surrounding foster families and social workers with encouragement, and guiding youth toward bright futures. Our service is not a heavy obligation, but a joyful response to God’s goodness: We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Civic Grace & Peace

We seek to be peacemakers and good neighbors in our community, honoring civil authorities and abiding by the law in a spirit of respect and cooperation. We pray for leaders and support policies that protect the vulnerable and preserve the freedom for believers to serve others in accordance with their Christian convictions, always placing our highest loyalty in God.

Unity & Sustaining Grace

We believe that unity in the Body of Christ reveals God’s love to the world. In humility, we seek to uplift others, partner with local churches, and work side-by-side so that every child experiences safety, belonging, and hope. Jesus is our refuge, our provider, and our strength. By His Spirit, we serve for His glory alone until every child knows they are deeply loved by God.
