Statement of Faith

At Wild Oak Haven, our faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything we do. We exist to reflect His love to children, families, and communities impacted by foster care—walking in grace, truth, and compassion through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, revealing His heart for redemption and His call to love others. We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created every person in His image and calls us into a restored relationship with Him through the grace of Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus alone. Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, adopted into God’s family, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live lives that bear fruit and reflect His love to the world.

We believe that all human life is sacred and created with purpose, from conception to natural death. We uphold the sanctity of life and extend compassion to those facing difficult circumstances, believing that God’s grace is sufficient for all.

We believe that God’s heart is deeply invested in the orphaned, the vulnerable, and the defenseless. Scripture calls us to reflect that same love through action—to care for children in need, to support families and social workers, and to walk alongside foster youth with compassion and hope. Our mission is not born out of duty, but out of responsive love: We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

We also believe that unity in the Body of Christ is essential to our witness and our strength. Guided by humility and grace, we honor one another above ourselves and work together so that every child may experience the unfailing love of God.

Christ is our source, our provision, and our sustaining power. By His Spirit, we serve so that His name may be glorified and His heart made known—until every child knows safety, belonging, and love.
